Dear Colleagues

This is a quick update to let you all know that SARPAM is in the process of negotiating with the regional CAF Co-ordinator Washington Matika to take over my role

I fully endorse Matika's appointment since he has been an active leader of the SARPAM CS even before i joined SARPAM. He was part of the Nairobi meeting in 2010 that formally launched the CS engagement process under SARPAM

But crucially, Matika has been working closely with me already especially since became the regional CAF Co-ordinator in December 2013

His appointment will also allow the CS under SARPAM to continue their transition to autonomy and sustainability after the end of SARPAM in December 2014

I will formally introduce him to you all once all the administrative processes are completed later on this week

Please do all kindly take note that Friday 30th May will be my last day at SARPAM. As from 31st May, this email address will be de-activated.

However i will remain accessible to you all using my personal address; danielm...@gmail.com
