Summary:
Like the Frankenstein story, neglecting "familial responsibility" in early days of development led to tragedy. We have a new "creation", more than a computer and less than a human, at least for now. The aim is to explore how to embed ethics in both the AI programs, and in the users, developers and maintainers in the AI meta environment."

Paul is a retired senior military officer, an aerospace engineering Air Force officer, and a former Director of Defence Ethics in the Canadian Department of National Defence. Upon retirement in 2001, Paul formed the PAUL MAILLET CENTER FOR ETHICS AND PEACE SERVICES working in the field of organizational ethics and peace services.
