Science news this week: A human population isolated for 100,000 years, the biggest spinning structure in the universe, and a pit full of skulls



As interesting as this lookback of even 100,000 years may be, I can't help but think of what has happened over the previous 100 million years.   How about 13 billion years.   We do know there have been 5 extensions in this time frame and we are starting down the extinction curve for the 6th extinction.   Humans have no guarantee they were never made extinct in the past and may never have existed since the big bang.   

Much can change in 500 million years
