Nature-based solutions offer a powerful approach to addressing many of the challenges facing California, like not enough water, extreme heat, air pollution, and economic instability, that affect farmers, communities, and the environment. By working with natural systems we can increase climate resilience, create economic opportunities, improve sustainability, and enhance public health. California's case studies can act as a model for other states ready to tackle their own challenges.
