An article in The New York Times found in the Globe and Mail.

In China, the longest ultrahigh-voltage power line stretches more than 2,000 miles (3,200 km) from the far northwest to the populous southeast — the equivalent of transmitting electricity from Idaho to New York City.

The distance Calgary to Toronto is 3,200 km. Opportunity for Danielle Smith to build solar and wind in the most favourable location in Canada and send it to Ontario? And make money for Alberta for an indefinite future.

There'd be no chance for deaths from emissions, especially cancer.  Smitty will never go for it.  ;)
