Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior DBT Cloud / Databricks Developer/Architect to lead the design and implementation of modern data transformation and analytics solutions. 

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in DBT Cloud, Databricks, and cloud data platforms, and will play a key role in building scalable, high-performance data pipelines and data models.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable data transformation pipelines using DBT Cloud
• Architect and implement Databricks-based data solutions (Delta Lake, Spark)
• Build and optimize data models (star/DataBricks schemas) for analytics
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data stack principles
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization
• Implement CI/CD for DBT projects and manage deployments
• Optimize SQL queries and large-scale data processing in Databricks
• Lead architecture discussions and provide best practices

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering / data architecture
• Strong hands-on experience with DBT Cloud (must-have)
• Expertise in Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, notebooks, workflows)
• Advanced SQL skills and data modeling expertise
• Experience with cloud platforms Azure
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Python or PySpark
