QA Resource Requirements – Kinaxis & Supply Chain Planning
Required Knowledge & Skills
Kinaxis Platform QA Expertise
-
Proven experience validating Kinaxis Rapid Response implementations across demand, supply, inventory, and control tower modules.

Ability to design and execute end-to-end test scenarios covering planning cycles, exception management, and what‑if simulations.

Strong understanding of Kinaxis data models, planning logic, and configuration dependencies to support accurate test coverage.
Demand Planning & Forecast QA
-
Ability to validate:
-
Statistical forecasting logic and model outputs
-
Demand data maintenance processes
-
Customer and internal input workflows
-
Capability to assess the impact of forecast accuracy on:
-
Inventory levels
-
Manufacturing and transportation costs
-
Warehousing costs
-
Customer service performance
-
Experience testing forecast overrides, consensus demand, and approval workflows.
Supply, Inventory & Network Planning QA
-
Validation experience in:
-
Tiered inventory strategies and safety stock logic
-
Inventory cost optimization aligned with service‑level targets
-
Supply plans aligned to corporate and financial objectives
-
Ability to test supply network, material planning, and capacity planning models across tactical and strategic horizons.

Exposure to global inventory management scenarios, including multi‑site and multi‑region planning.
Pharma Supply Chain QA (Preferred)
-
Experience validating pharmaceutical demand and supply planning processes, including:
-
Product lifecycle considerations
-
Regulatory and lot/batch‑driven planning constraints
-
Understanding of quality‑critical planning impacts relevant to Pharma environments.
Analytics, Reporting & KPI Validation
-
Ability to validate planning metrics, KPIs, and dashboards, including those supporting:

S&OP / IBP processes
-
Customer service performance
-
Inventory and cost optimization
-
Skill in translating complex optimization outputs into clear, testable business outcomes.
QA Leadership & Process Capabilities
Test Strategy & Governance

Ability to define and execute:

Test strategies (SIT, UAT, regression, performance)

Traceability between business requirements, test cases, and defects

Experience establishing QA standards and best practices for supply chain planning programs.
