The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-native DevOps practices, with deep experience in CI/CD pipeline design, containerization/orchestration, and infrastructure as code (IaC) using modern tools. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you will mentor engineers, partner with architecture and security teams, and help shape the future of DevSecOps at the enterprise level.

Key Responsibilities:
Automation & Infrastructure:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, Chocolaty
  • Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker, Podman, and Amazon EKS
  • Write and manage deployment workflows in Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins
DevSecOps Enablement:
  • Embed "shift-left" security practices with tools like Checkmarx, SonarQube, PrismaCloud
  • Guide development teams in secure coding practices and compliance standards (performance, availability, recoverability)
  • Maintain and implement tooling for automated testing, including unit, integration, system, and performance testing
Collaboration & Mentorship:
  • Mentor junior engineers and software delivery teams on DevOps best practices
  • Collaborate with architecture, security, and delivery teams on solution design, implementation, and support
  • Support Agile teams with ADO (Azure DevOps) configuration, process setup, and DevOps workflows
Innovation & Strategy:
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation, standardization, and DevOps maturity
  • Participate in Technology Centers of Excellence and evangelize DevSecOps across the organization
  • Contribute to evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, tools, and vendor packages
  • Support the Bank's long-term roadmap to modernize and refine development operations, container security, and compliance tooling

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering and DevOps
  • 7+ years working in SCRUM/Agile environments
  • Expertise in containerization via Docker and Podman, and orchestration with Amazon EKS
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Octopus, or TeamCity
  • Strong cloud engineering background in AWS, with exposure to Azure
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, Ansible, Chocolaty
  • Solid understanding of DevSecOps, including Checkmarx, SonarQube, PrismaCloud
  • Experience with GitHub Copilot, including configuration and administration
  • Scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and Bash
  • Familiarity with APM tools such as Datadog, SolarWinds
  • Ability to work with tools like Artifactory, NuGet, JFrog, and build systems such as MSBuild
  • OOP development experience in C# or similar languages

Nice to Have:
  • Experience proactively preventing “rebel code” and enforcing development standards
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments (50% Azure / 50% AWS)
  • Prior contributions to self-service DevOps platform development
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration and training

Why Join:
  • Strategic, high-impact role modernizing enterprise DevOps practices
  • Exposure to advanced container and orchestration platforms
  • Work with a forward-thinking architecture and security team
  • Help shape the future of DevSecOps culture across the organization
