Job Title : Certified Business Architect
Location: 100% remote
Duration : Contract C2C
Duration: 9-12 months  Phase 1-2-3months focused on analysis, Phase 2-3-6 months focused on design and build

  • Business capabilities, driving toward commons systems 
  • Business Architecture background 
  • Defining business capabilities across an enterprise
  • Go through process documentation, future state documentation
  • Solutioning, transitioning into that front end analysis
  • Transitioning the organization and building business capabilities. 
    • Managing cases, intaking cases, reviewing cases, dispositioning case appeals, we have built a solution 
    • Identify commonalities, configurable 
    • Idea is we get toward a lego approach, 
    • We have a CRM, we have a call center, how they interact, how we do we analysis of each function across the enterprise 
    • Business Architecture training is what we need, someone who has done this business architecture, business capabilities, looking at functions
      • Gartner Methodologies, several organizations have training 
      • Not a project manager 
      • Good for them to have technical depth, but don’t need to be a deep technical architect 
      • Deep in technical executions
  • Need to identify a software or solutions for effective case management 
    • Across 5 different clients we have a lot of different clients not scalable, cant go to market cause 
    • Maybe managing a clients disability programs for us 
      • Standardizing their case management 
    • Someone who is comfortable with conflict, having meaningful discussions to reach the broader audience 
    • Would prefer people skills over technical 
  • This is a role for just FORHEALTH
    • Gov’t entities, retirement agencies, gov’t employee retirement systems that employ us to do their systems for us
    • We have a lot of work with MassHealth 
  • Health care background, understanding environment provide 
  • Broader business is more clinical 
  • Case management, healthcare claims 
  • Want to look at our capabilities 
  • Gap Analysis, Definition of Capabilities, Define requirements, Define a roadmap, How do we solution for that?
  • Day to day: interaction with key disability unit, working through documentation of current state, update our process flows, mapping out future state, working with IT colleagues, understanding IT clients, using different systems, how much is common, how much is different, working with documentation working with the team, analysis work
  • We are in phase 0 
  • Phase 1 define
  • Phase 2 design the capabilities
  • Phase 3 is implementation
  • Goals: disability unit, first 60-90 days will be really to get our arms around this business area, look at the clients in this are
    • We run 5 different businesses solutions for 5 different clients  
    • CRM, call center management, portal needs, get to the common requirements
    • Variation across clients we want to standardize
    • What are the core capabilities that we need to support
    • Then how do we solutions
 
 
Core hours: start and end and total hours per week: 40 hours a week
Is this role fully approved: Yes
 
Goal of this position: Working to define business capabilities across the enterprise, starting with the case management site-how they are using Dynamics and Salesforce, evaluate current process, identify gaps/opportunities, help decide on programs and process to move forward, design, build and implement.
 
Will start with Gap Analysis and than create road map (ground up look at current state)
 
Need strong Business Analysis skills, process optimization skills and experience working with a business on building capabilities. Any healthcare/insurance background a plus, 
 
Any business Architect training a huge plus, should have good tech depth, but don’t need to be deep in technical execution, more about defining the business needs
 
Must be comfortable with change management-dealing with conflict associated with that. Strong people skills are more important than technical skills.
 
Tech tools include Visio MS office suite. Thinking about adding things like SAP – but don’t have that yet.
 
Eventually-as they finish the restructure of IT and get through this process they may add on a Enterprise Architect on as the full time position.
 
Note: The biggest client that these teams work with is Mass Health-they currently are focusing on 5 external clients and the process of managing claims, etc.
