  Location: NYC, NY (130 5th Ave.) – Hybrid (2 days/week onsite; typically, Tuesday + one flexible day)

  Client is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join the Client Markets Technology team supporting the FX Trading Platform. This is a hands-on engineering role for a senior-level developer who can contribute immediately in a fast-paced trading environment.
  
  Job Description:
  
  Design, develop, and maintain applications supporting the FX trading platform
  Perform hands-on Java and Python development for day-to-day platform needs and surge initiatives
  Support platform stability, enhancements, and operational improvements
  Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions
  Collaborate closely with internal team members and technical leads
  Occasionally engage with traders and business users as needed
  Contribute to both ongoing platform work and ad-hoc surge requests
  Required:
  
  10 years of overall software development experience
  Strong hands-on experience with Java
  Solid experience with Python
  Experience working with AWS services
  Strong communication and collaboration skills
  Ability to work independently in a senior, hands-on coding role
