Job Title: GIS Developer

Location: 9 MetroTech Center 6E-38K, Brooklyn, NY 11201- Only locals

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

Hours: 35 hours per week

 

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-grade geospatial applications. We are looking for a strong GIS professional with hands-on experience in ArcGIS Enterprise and GIS application development.

 

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on GIS
• Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise, including Portal for ArcGIS, Genevan Server, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Data Store
• Experience developing interactive web mapping applications using ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript and Java/Spring Boot
• Advanced Python scripting for geoprocessing
• Strong SQL skills, including complex spatial joins and queries

 

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ArcGIS API for Python for GIS DevOps activities such as user management, content audits, and environment cloning
• Strong experience with ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript 4.x
• Ability to create custom widgets and work with 3D visualizations
• Experience with modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Spring Boot
