Position: Cloud Platform Engineer

Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite)

Duration: 12+Months Contract

 

Looking for solid hands on guy with Python and experience with Agentic automation / understand genetic orchestration (MCP /callable agents)

Hands-on experience in Python, Java, AI/ML, and databases.

 

Description:

 

Required Experience & Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Deep expertise with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, etc.) and pipeline-as-code patterns.
• Strong working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure, Kubernetes, containerization, Java ecosystems, and data platforms.
• Proven experience building scalable automation frameworks, agentic orchestration, and infrastructure validation utilities.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex team dynamics, influence without authority, and drive adoption across cross-functional groups.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience conducting architecture reviews, providing technical recommendations, and aligning teams to standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with policy-as-code tools (OPA, Conftest, Sentinel), IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep), and observability stacks.
• Exposure to enterprise governance frameworks, SDLC maturity assessments, and capability uplift programs.
• Background in leading or contributing to cloud migration or modernization efforts at scale.
