Job Title: Oracle Integration Developer

Location: Seattle , WA /Dallas , TX - onsite 50% (2 weeks must in a month, could be more) – Expenses Paid
Duration: 4 Months


  • We are seeking a Senior Integration & Reporting Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Service Bus (OSB), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) to support a large-scale telecommunications ERP transformation program.
  • The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and supporting integrations and reports across Oracle ERP Cloud and telecom enterprise systems, with deep involvement in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Design & Development (OSB / OIC)

Design, develop, and maintain real-time and batch integrations using: 
o Oracle Service Bus (OSB)
o Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

 

Build integrations between Oracle ERP Cloud (SCM, Financials) and: 
o Telecom OSS/BSS platforms
o Network inventory systems
o Logistics partners and 3PLs
o External vendors and suppliers

Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs, FTP/SFTP, and event-based integrations.
Implement canonical data models, error handling, logging, and reprocessing mechanisms.
Reporting & Document Development (BIP)
Design and develop BI Publisher (BIP) reports and documents, including: 
o Operational and transactional reports
o Integration control and reconciliation reports
o Business documents (invoices, POs, ASN, shipping docs)

  • Develop and optimize SQL queries against Oracle Fusion tables and views.
    Support bursting, scheduling, and distribution of reports.
  • Troubleshoot BIP performance, data issues, and formatting defects.

 

System Integration Testing (SIT)

  • Support SIT planning, execution, and defect resolution for integrations and reports.
  • Validate end-to-end data flows across ERP, middleware, and telecom systems.
  • Analyze logs, payloads, and error messages across OSB, OIC, and ERP.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to resolve data and process issues.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

 

Support business users during UAT by: 
o Executing test scenarios
o Analyzing failures and root causes
o Fixing defects and supporting retesting
Provide technical explanations of integration and reporting behavior to business stakeholders.
Ensure UAT readiness and successful sign-off.
Deployment & Production Support

Support cutover and go-live activities, including: 
o Migration of integrations and reports
o Environment configuration and validation
o Production smoke testing
Provide post-go-live hypercare, monitoring interfaces and reports.
Proactively identify and remediate performance or stability issues.
Governance & Collaboration

Work closely with: 
o Functional SCM and Finance consultants
o Telecom business SMEs
o ERP Cloud and infrastructure teams

 

Follow enterprise standards for: 
o Security
o Error handling
o Logging and monitoring
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge transfer.
Mentor junior developers and support delivery excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Oracle middleware and reporting development.
    Strong hands-on experience with: 
    o Oracle Service Bus (OSB)
    o Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
    o Oracle BI Publisher (BIP)
  • Proven experience integrating Oracle ERP Cloud with external systems.
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills (Fusion schema familiarity preferred).

Telecommunications Industry Experience
Prior experience working with telecommunications providers or high-volume transaction environments.
Understanding of: 
o OSS/BSS system integrations
o Network provisioning and fulfillment flows
o High-throughput, near-real-time integrations
Experience supporting mission-critical interfaces is a strong plus.
Testing & Delivery Skills
Hands-on experience supporting SIT, UAT, and production deployments.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Experience working in large, multi-vendor SI programs.
Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
