Rate: 20/hr.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-time Junior IT Support Technician to join our team. This position will primarily focus on troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for our internal systems and users. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in IT, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to end-users in person, over the phone, or via remote tools.
•
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
•
Install and configure computer systems, peripherals, and software.
•
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updates, backups, and system checks.
•
Assist in setting up new equipment and software for employees.
•
Document all technical procedures and user guides.
•
Ensure security and privacy of systems and data.
•
Collaborate with team members and external vendors to troubleshoot complex issues.
•
Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements:
•
Proven experience or strong interest in IT support.
•
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking.
•
Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments.
•
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
•
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
•
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
•
Availability to work part-time hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
•
Certification in IT or related field (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+).
•
Experience with Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
•
Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Remote Desktop).
•
Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles.
