Job Title: SAP Business Analyst

Location: Atlanta (Hybrid – 60% Onsite / 40% Remote)

Role Summary

The SAP Business Analyst will collaborate closely with Atlas team members to deliver process transformation aligned with SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Atlas team to deliver project outputs aligned with SAP best practices

Train, support, and mentor FCS (Functional/Client Stakeholders)

Identify gaps in existing documentation and processes

Develop current-state process documentation and related analysis

Design future-state processes aligned with district/organizational policies

Translate future-state processes into Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Ensure SOPs follow standard practices (avoid workaround habits) and align with:

SAP Configuration

Security & Segregation of Duties (SoD)

Audit & Compliance requirements

Identify and document shadow processes outside the ERP system

Gather stakeholder feedback while maintaining process integrity

Ensure SOPs:

Trace back to business requirements and SAP solution design

Are version controlled

Are approved before go-live

Support and promote assignment of a long-term SOP owner

Additional Notes

Experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation projects is highly preferred

Strong documentation and process improvement skills are essential

Prior experience in large enterprise or public sector environments is a plus
