Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
SOLR and FUSION, Linux (Scripting), Python.
In this role, you will be responsible for coding and delivering high quality deliverables and should be willing to learn about new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement enterprise search solutions using Fusion and SOLR.
- Tune search relevancy and query pipelines to ensure fast and accurate search results.
- Create automated processes for bulk and real-time indexing of large datasets from various sources like databases, Hadoop, and flat files into
Solr.
- Design, create, and manage Solr clusters, including shards and collections.
- Identify, research, and resolve complex issues related to Solr, Fusion, and related technologies.
- Work with DevOps/SRE/IT teams to troubleshoot logging issues and build observability into CI/CD pipelines.
Linux & Scripting
- Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts for automation of deployments, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
- Set up, configure, and maintain Linux-based environments for Elasticsearch and related applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server performance, disk, and memory issues related to Elasticsearch.
Minimum Qualifications
- BE/B Tech/MCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Finance Domain
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Hands-on experience with SOLR and fusion
- Solid understanding of Elasticsearch architecture, shard management, query DSL, and cluster tuning.
- Experience with Spark for advanced data processing, analytics, and managing Fusion's ML features.
- Experience with Extract, Transform, Load processes and data pipeline tools.
- SOLR schema design, faceting, filtering, and query parsing.
- Configuration and management of Solr collections, including Solr Cloud.
- Experience with Linux environments and command-line scripting (Bash, Shell, Python).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
