Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP GTS Consultant with 10+ years of expertise to support a Global Trade Services (GTS) upgrade initiative aligned with S/4HANA transformation efforts.

The consultant will assess upgrade impacts, remediate deprecated functionalities, support testing cycles, and drive cutover activities for the GTS stream while ensuring trade compliance readiness.

Key Responsibilities Upgrade & Impact Analysis

• Analyze upgrade impact on SAP GTS processes and system interfaces.

• Identify deprecated functionalities and align with S/4HANA simplifications.

• Recommend remediation strategies and best-practice solutions.

Testing & Validation

• Prepare comprehensive test cases covering foreign trade processes.

• Execute functional and integration testing.

• Validate compliance checks and customs documentation processes.

Cutover & Deployment

• Define and execute cutover activities specific to the GTS stream.

• Coordinate with cross-functional SAP teams to ensure smooth go-live.

• Ensure system readiness and trade compliance continuity.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure foreign trade compliance checks are fully operational.

• Validate customs documentation, reporting, and regulatory adherence.

• Support audit readiness and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of SAP experience.

• Strong expertise in:

  • SAP Global Trade Services (GTS)

  • SAP HANA Cloud Integration (HCI)

• Experience supporting S/4HANA upgrades and simplification initiatives.

• Deep understanding of:

  • Foreign trade processes

  • Customs management

  • Compliance checks

  • Trade documentation

• Hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and defect resolution.

• Experience leading cutover planning and go-live support.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent stakeholder communication abilities.
