Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Python API Developer with 8–12 years of experience for an urgent onsite role in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python and AWS, along with a deep understanding of API architecture and microservice patterns. You'll be responsible for developing scalable services, designing integration layers to ensure smooth data flow, and leveraging AWS cloud services for deployment and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop services using Python and Python frameworks.
- Design integration layers using services, messaging, and other approaches to support downstream data flow.
- Work closely with existing systems to ensure seamless integration.
- Leverage AWS Cloud services for deployment and operations.
- Utilize Git and CI/CD pipelines for version control and automated deployments.
- Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and scalable API development.
Required Skills & Experience
- Mandatory Skills: Python, REST API, AWS.
- API Architecture: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other API types.
- OpenAPI Specification (OAS): Ability to read, write, and evaluate API specifications.
- Security Protocols: Experience with OAuth, JWT, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
- Microservice Patterns: Strong understanding of microservices design principles.
- Good to have: Knowledge of Java.
