Role Overview
Serve as a senior business analyst driving data-centric solutions for global stakeholders by translating complex business needs into clear ETL, cloud, and analytics requirements, leveraging AWS, Python, and Generative AI to deliver scalable insights, while collaborating in a hybrid work model to improve decision quality, operational efficiency, and customer value across the enterprise.
Technical Core & Responsibilities
Discovery & Requirements
- Drive structured discovery sessions with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, operational pain points, and data-related needs, transforming them into detailed and testable analytical requirements
- Create comprehensive requirement documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria that clearly describe ETL data flows, AWS processing needs, and downstream analytics use cases
ETL & Cloud Collaboration
- Collaborate with ETL engineers to define source-to-target mappings, data quality rules, and transformation logic
- Work closely with cloud teams to shape AWS-based data architectures that balance performance, cost, and security, specifying data storage patterns, access needs, and consumption models
Development & AI Integration
- Partner with Python developers to design and refine reusable analytics components, including data processing scripts and automation tools
- Coordinate with data scientists and Generative AI specialists to translate business challenges into practical use cases, defining prompts, guardrails, and evaluation metrics
Documentation & Governance
- Design and maintain detailed process flows, data lineage diagrams, and business glossaries
- Ensure all analysis, documentation, and solution proposals comply with policies on ethics, data privacy, and responsible AI
Testing, Monitoring & Reporting
- Develop and execute user acceptance testing plans that validate data accuracy, performance, and usability
- Monitor production performance indicators for key data products (pipeline stability, data freshness, usage trends)
- Prepare concise reports highlighting how ETL, AWS, Python, and Generative AI solutions contribute to revenue growth, cost optimization, and risk reduction
Workshops & Prioritization
- Facilitate workshops and demos showcasing new data and AI capabilities
- Advise product owners and managers on sequencing analytics features and AI experiments using data-driven reasoning
