Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong AWS cloud expertise to join our team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and supporting large-scale enterprise Java applications along with strong DevOps and cloud automation skills. This role requires expertise in AWS infrastructure management, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and infrastructure-as-code automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java technologies.
· Build and manage cloud-native solutions on AWS.
· Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
· Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
· Collaborate with DevOps, architecture, and development teams to ensure reliable and scalable deployments.
· Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
· Support production deployments and troubleshoot infrastructure/application issues.
· Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.
· Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and automation.
Required Skills
· Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
· Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications/projects.
· Strong AWS cloud experience including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC.
· Experience with infrastructure automation tools:
o Terraform
o CloudFormation
o Ansible
· Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance.
· Experience with Git and version control systems.
· Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and REST APIs.
· Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
· Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
· Exposure to security and compliance best practices in AWS.
· AWS Certification is a plus.
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
