Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working as Scrum Master in large, distributed or multi-team environments, including offshore-onshore models
- Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks
- Proficiency in Agile tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Rally, Confluence, RTC
- Solid understanding of estimation techniques, sprint planning, and forecasting
- Excellent client-facing communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and coaching abilities
Role Overview
This is a new T&M engagement opportunity with an expected team size of 5 to 8 FTE covering technical and QE&A roles. The overall scope of the project is to build and integrate Agentic AI enterprise-grade APIs and orchestration services that enable agentic commerce experiences and third-party commerce integrations.
Technical Core & Responsibilities
Scrum Ceremonies & Framework
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Ensure correct and consistent use of Scrum and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe as applicable)
- Support PI Planning, Release Planning, and Scrum of Scrums for scaled Agile setups
Servant Leadership & Coaching
- Act as a servant leader, shielding the team from external distractions and enabling focus on sprint goals
- Coach team members on Agile values such as openness, respect, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and self-organization within the team
Impediment & Risk Management
- Proactively identify, track, and remove impediments, risks, and dependencies, including cross-team and organizational blockers
- Escalate issues appropriately and collaborate with leadership to resolve systemic challenges
Metrics & Reporting
- Track and report on Agile metrics such as Velocity, Capacity, Burn-down/Burn-up, and Sprint Predictability
- Use empirical data to forecast sprint and release outcomes based on evidence
- Lead retrospectives and drive actionable improvements across people, process, and tools
Stakeholder & Product Owner Collaboration
- Serve as the primary Agile point of contact for onshore clients and business stakeholders
- Facilitate transparent communication on sprint progress, risks, velocity, and delivery health
- Work closely with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness, prioritization, and alignment with business goals
Agile Transformation
- Support Agile transformation initiatives by coaching teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders in Agile mindset and practices
- Assist in setting up new Agile teams and improving existing Agile processes
- Promote best practices across engagements and contribute to organizational Agile maturity
