Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with over 8 years of experience to lead quality engineering efforts onsite in Fort Mill, SC. This role is highly focused on modern automation frameworks, specifically requiring deep expertise in Playwright and Selenium. As a lead, you will not only write and enhance automated scripts but also manage the QA team, oversee release handling, and customize hybrid automation frameworks. The ideal candidate is proficient in both Java and TypeScript and can seamlessly transition between automated and manual testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities & Required Skills
Leadership & Release Management
- Team Leadership: Act as the primary lead for the QA team, driving automation strategy and ensuring best practices within Agile sprints.
- Release Handling: Manage end-to-end release cycles, coordinating between development and operations to ensure stable deployments.
- Agile Integration: Operate within high-velocity Agile environments, managing version control via GitHub.
Automation Framework Engineering
- Framework Customization: Expertise in designing and customizing Keyword Driven and Hybrid automation frameworks.
- Scripting & Execution: High proficiency in writing and executing scripts using Playwright (Top Priority) and Selenium.
- API Testing: Hands-on experience with the Rest Assured framework for comprehensive API validation.
- Tech Stack: Strong programming skills in Java and TypeScript, utilizing JUnit, TestNG, and Maven for build and unit testing.
Manual & Strategic Testing
- Manual Testing: Expertise in developing detailed manual test scenarios and cases to complement the automation suite.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to bridge the gap between technical requirements and stakeholder expectations.
