Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Onshore Tech Lead with 12–16+ years of experience to spearhead the development and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications for Voya Financial. This role requires a high-level technical expert proficient in both legacy and modern frameworks, specifically .NET Framework, .NET Core, AngularJS, and Angular. You will lead cross-functional teams to design scalable architectures, optimize application performance, and ensure the seamless integration of enterprise solutions. As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for mentoring junior developers, conducting rigorous code reviews, and maintaining the highest standards of code quality and reliability.

 

Technical Core & Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development & Architecture

• Framework Mastery: Develop and enhance complex applications using a blend of .NET Core for modern microservices and .NET Framework for legacy system maintenance.
• Frontend Evolution: Lead the implementation of intuitive user interfaces using Angular and AngularJS, ensuring cross-version compatibility and high performance.
• Scalable Design: Contribute to the architectural design of enterprise solutions, focusing on scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

Performance & Quality Engineering

• Optimization: Identify and resolve critical bottlenecks in the codebase to ensure high-speed application performance.
• Testing & Debugging: Oversee thorough testing and debugging processes to ensure all application components function seamlessly within the Voya ecosystem.
• Code Stewardship: Lead code reviews to maintain consistency and quality across all development projects.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Team Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Documentation: Ensure all application processes, architectural decisions, and code changes are documented for future reference and knowledge sharing.
