AI Builder (AI Solutions Engineer)

Locations Preferred: New York, NY | Dallas, TX | San Ramon, CA (Onsite Only Locals)

Role Purpose

Turn vision into working AI solutions — fast.

The AI Builder serves as the execution engine of the AI delivery pod, leveraging Claude Cowork and modern AI-assisted development tools to rapidly transform business problems into production-ready AI solutions. This individual can move from discovery sessions to working prototypes within hours and scale successful solutions into enterprise-grade applications.

What Success Looks Like

• Converts business problems into functional AI solutions within hours or days, not weeks.
• Utilizes Claude Cowork as the primary delivery platform for rapid AI solution development.
• Demonstrates working prototypes and solution progress in every business review or sprint meeting.
• Evolves rapid prototypes into scalable, maintainable production systems.
• Works seamlessly across front-end, back-end, and AI orchestration layers without requiring handoffs.
• Successfully navigates enterprise governance, security, compliance, and architecture reviews while maintaining delivery velocity.
• Collaborates directly with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and rapidly validate AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and agent-based solutions.
• Build AI workflows using modern GenAI frameworks and orchestration platforms.
• Utilize Claude Cowork and AI coding assistants to accelerate software delivery.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and AI agents.
• Build full-stack applications integrating AI capabilities with enterprise systems.
• Conduct business discovery sessions and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with business, product, architecture, security, and compliance teams.
• Prototype, test, and productionize AI solutions.
• Integrate APIs, third-party platforms, and enterprise data sources.
• Ensure AI solutions meet security, governance, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

AI Development & Engineering

• Strong experience in Generative AI and Agentic AI solution development.
• Hands-on experience building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
• Experience designing and implementing AI agents and workflow automation.
• Strong prompt engineering expertise.
• Full-stack software development experience.

AI Coding & Productivity Tools

• Extensive hands-on experience with Claude Cowork (Required).
• Experience using:
  • Claude Code
  • Cursor
  • Windsurf
  • GitHub Copilot
• Ability to explain and demonstrate when and why each AI coding tool is used.

Technical Stack

• Python
• React.js
• Next.js
• REST APIs and system integrations
• LangGraph
• CrewAI
• LangChain
• PydanticAI

Business & Consulting Skills

• Experience leading discovery sessions with business stakeholders.
• Ability to frame business problems and convert them into technical AI solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to demonstrate solutions to executive and non-technical audiences.

Enterprise Readiness

• Experience navigating enterprise AI governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with security, compliance, risk management, and architecture review processes.
• Ability to work effectively with legal, compliance, and security teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare Domain Experience (Nice to Have)

• FHIR and HL7 standards
• Healthcare claims processing workflows
• Clinical operations
• Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
• HIPAA compliance
• GxP regulated environments

Preferred Experience

• 7+ years of software engineering or solution engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on AI/GenAI development experience.
• Proven experience building and deploying production AI solutions.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
