Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with 10+ years of experience to lead the design and optimization of end-to-end order lifecycle processes for a major retail environment. This role focuses on the seamless integration of E-Commerce platforms, Order Management Systems (OMS), and ERPs. You will be responsible for the product roadmap, managing the development lifecycle, and ensuring real-time inventory visibility across all channels. The ideal candidate has deep technical roots in IBM Sterling, Manhattan, or Salesforce OMS and a proven track record of delivering omnichannel fulfillment strategies.
Key Responsibilities & Required Skills
OMS & E-Commerce Strategy
- System Design: Configure and optimize OMS solutions (Manhattan, IBM Sterling, or Salesforce OMS) to ensure a high-performing digital ecosystem.
- Integrations: Lead the integration of online storefronts (Magento, Shopify, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud) with ERP and fulfillment systems using APIs and middleware.
- Omnichannel Fulfillment: Implement and scale best practices for BOPIS (Buy Online, Pick Up In Store), ship-from-store, and drop-shipping.
Product Lifecycle & Roadmap
- Roadmap Planning: Own the product roadmap, defining key deliverables and ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Requirement Management: Translate complex business needs into technical specifications, user stories, and functional requirements.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks related to product delivery, market shifts, and regulatory compliance.
Domain & Technical Expertise
- Order Lifecycle: Manage the complete flow from order capture and inventory allocation to payment processing and returns.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Hands-on work with APIs and Web Services for data synchronization; coordinate with vendors to resolve systemic bottlenecks.
- Compliance: Ensure all product features adhere to PCI compliance, data privacy laws, and security standards.
Mandatory Technical Proficiency
- OMS Platforms: IBM Sterling, Manhattan, or Salesforce OMS (Expert Level).
- E-Commerce: Deep knowledge of digital commerce trends and platform integrations.
- Inventory Management: Expertise in real-time inventory visibility and multi-node allocation.
