- Pay Rate: $57/hr C2C
- Client: Truist (via IBM)
- Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with over 7 years of experience to support the Cyber Metrics Development Program at Truist. This role is highly technical, requiring advanced SQL capabilities to profile, validate, and map complex cybersecurity data into an enterprise data warehouse. You will be instrumental in correlating data across Identity & Access Management (IAM), Cloud, and Vulnerability Management sources to drive accurate cybersecurity reporting and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Data Profiling & SQL Analysis
- Complex Querying: Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to extract and correlate large datasets for cybersecurity metrics.
- Source Correlation: Perform deep-dive data correlation across disparate security logs, including Cloud environments and Vulnerability Management tools.
- API Validation: Utilize tools like Postman for API connectivity testing and data retrieval to ensure seamless integration between security tools and the data warehouse.
Cybersecurity Metrics & Reporting
- Mapping & Validation: Gathering and mapping system data into the warehouse while ensuring alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Documentation: Maintain technical architecture documentation, data dictionaries, and mapping documents to ensure transparency in metric calculations.
- Data Integrity: Verify data accuracy and completeness, working closely with Data Engineering and QA teams to remediate defects.
UAT & Stakeholder Collaboration
- UAT Leadership: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sign-off procedures with metric owners and business representatives.
- Issue Resolution: Take end-to-end ownership of data issues, coordinating between IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear alignment on operational metrics.
- Post-Deployment Support: Validate metrics post-deployment and assist stakeholders with ongoing data inquiries.
Required Technical Skills
- SQL Proficiency: 7+ years of experience with complex SQL/NoSQL querying and data profiling.
- Agile & Documentation: Expert in Agile tools (Jira/Confluence) and creating technical design/mapping documents.
- API Integration: Hands-on experience with Postman and API-based data retrieval.
- ETL Knowledge: Strong understanding of ETL processes and moving data into enterprise warehouses.
- Cybersecurity Domain: (Preferred) Knowledge of IAM, Cloud security, and vulnerability data.
