Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Oracle APEX Developer to lead the design and implementation of enterprise web applications integrated with Oracle Fusion Cloud. This role focuses on building interactive dashboards, reports, and workflows that facilitate data exchange between APEX and various Fusion modules (ERP, HCM, SCM). You will be responsible for full-stack development within the Oracle ecosystem, utilizing OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) and REST/SOAP APIs to ensure seamless connectivity. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in PL/SQL and a strong background in optimizing application performance and security for a major media and entertainment environment.

 

Technical Core & Responsibilities

Application Architecture & Development

• APEX Engineering: Design and maintain scalable web applications using Oracle APEX (18.x or above), including complex interactive reports and custom forms.
• UI Customization: Enhance user experience through JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to provide high-end, responsive interfaces.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize APEX applications for maximum scalability and usability, ensuring low-latency response times for business users.

Oracle Fusion & OIC Integration

• Cloud Connectivity: Lead the integration of APEX applications with Oracle Fusion Cloud modules (Financials, HCM, SCM) using REST/SOAP web services.
• OIC Orchestration: Utilize Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for advanced data exchange, mapping, and automated integration flows.
• Fusion APIs: Develop custom wrappers and consumers for Fusion APIs to facilitate bi-directional data synchronization.

Database & Backend Excellence

• PL/SQL Development: Write and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, and triggers to support business logic and data processing.
• Data Modeling: Design and maintain robust Oracle database objects while ensuring strict data integrity and enterprise security compliance.
• APEX Security: Implement and manage APEX authentication and authorization schemes to protect sensitive corporate data.

 

Mandatory Technical Requirements

1. Oracle APEX: Advanced hands-on experience (version 18.x+ preferred).
2. Oracle Fusion Cloud: Technical expertise in integrating with ERP, HCM, or Financials.
3. Backend Mastery: Expert-level PL/SQL, SQL, and database object design.
4. Integration Tools: Proven experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
5. Frontend Basics: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for APEX UI tailoring.
