Required Skills & Qualifications
- Core Expertise: Minimum 2 years of hands-on PCMCS (Cloud) and 3 years of HPCM (On-prem) experience.
- Broad EPM Knowledge: Strong proficiency in Planning Cloud, Data Management, and ARCS/FCCS.
- Finance Background: 5+ years working within or supporting accounting, finance, or budgeting functions.
- Consulting Polish: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional workshops.
- Seniority: 10+ years of professional experience in the Hyperion/EPM space.
Role Overview
We are seeking a high-level Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Oracle Profitability & Cost Management (PCMCS) to lead large-scale, full life-cycle implementations. This role is designed for a consultant with deep functional knowledge of Accounting and FP&A processes who can architect complex cost-allocation models. You will be responsible for managing cross-module integrations (Planning, FCCS, ARCS) and coordinating technical resources across onsite and offshore teams. The ideal candidate has successfully transitioned from on-prem HPCM to EPM Cloud and can bridge the gap between technical data interfaces and corporate finance requirements.
Technical Core & Responsibilities
PCMCS/HPCM Architecture
- Implementation Leadership: Lead at least two large-scale, end-to-end implementations of Oracle PCMCS.
- Cost Modeling: Design and build complex profitability models, including driver-based allocations and cost-transparency reporting.
- Legacy Migration: Leverage experience in HPCM (on-prem) to guide the refactoring of artifacts and rules for the cloud environment.
Cross-Module Integration
- EPM Ecosystem: Manage technical dependencies across the EPM stack, including Planning Cloud, Consolidation Cloud (FCCS), and Narrative Reporting.
- Data Management: Architect and maintain robust data/metadata interfaces between Oracle EPM and other Cloud pillars (ERP, HCM, SCM).
- Reporting: Design and deploy comprehensive reporting solutions using EPM Reports and Smart View to provide actionable financial insights.
Consulting & Project Management
- Resource Coordination: Oversee the delivery work of both onsite and offshore project resources to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
- Stakeholder Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to Finance, Accounting, and Budgeting teams, translating business logic into technical requirements.
- Documentation: Produce detailed solution designs, configuration workbooks, and knowledge transfer materials for internal and external stakeholders.
