How does one post pictures in this group

This is probably obvious to most but I've glanced through the tutorial
on google groups and am still not sure how to correctly post pictures
in this group. Some of you have pics in your post that are small and
can be clicked on to enlarge. Does that behavior just happen
automatically if I drag a picture in when posting? Are picture file
sizes important?

This picture had been dragged and dropped from a folder on my PC and the email programme has included it as an attachment.
