Hello,

As anew member of this group, I am a little surprised that there does not seem to be much activity over the past 18 months. Is this because everybody has had all of their questions answered ?

I have one.

Has anybody caught any hint that Sieg will be replacing the motor in the C0 with one of their new brushless ones to produce an SC0, in the same way that they have enhanced the X0 mill to an SX0?

I suspect that there are three answers Ron:

1) As you may know, Google trashed its Groups product in 2010, ripping out
most of the carefully crafted pictorial Content that I'd assembled. Worse,
they are now planning to downgrade Google Groups to further 'to improve our
experience'.

I'm no longer able to use it as a structured website showing words and
pictures.

2) Before the Content was deleted, the Group did seem to answer most of the
questions people tended to ask.

3) I believe Harbor Freight has discontinued this model, drastically
reducing the number of English-users who are asking questions.

I haven't.

Thanks David,

There are still at least two companies in Oz that are selling a fairly large range of Sieg products. They are not as up to date as Axminster, but then the shipping costs are rather better.

I will be keeping a watching brief over the next few months, before it's necessary to make a decision.

Regards,

Ron

Ron,

They are not going to come out with an SC0.

Ketan at ARC.
