Your Memorial Tabernacle Family invites you to JOY in the journey, JOY in life, and JOY in community.   Life has been hard for many, and we desire to offer a little joy to those in our community as we embrace this season that is filled with emotions. There will be Christmas Craft & Ornament Making, Games, Reading Circles, Photo Booth, and Much More along with resources. There will also be hot cocoa!  Check off your gift list and make a bid for the items we have in our Silent Auction!  It is time for each of us to support, laugh, learn, and celebrate the spirit of the season while offering JOY! 

This free, community, fun celebration has activities for toddlers, teens, families, and our most precious seniors.  All ages are welcome, and all under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

In the spirit of giving and desire to bring joy to the community, all are encouraged to bring your donations of socks, winter coats and warm clothing to the Candy Cane Lane Celebration 2023!  All donations will bless two of our community partner organizations/programs - St. Mary's Center and the Oakland Unified School District's McKinney-Vento Act. We thank you in advance!

• We are appreciative to every volunteer who cleaned, set up, decorated, designed candy canes, painted candy canes, promoted the opportunity, expressed joy about the celebration happening, prayed over the event, and will serve as Joy Ambassadors Saturday.  

• We are appreciative to all who donated in support of this great celebration and towards our outreach partners - St. Mary's Center and OUSD McKinney-Vento Program!
