Bradley and I have been discussing getting the Burlington PHP Users Group more active and we are looking at scheduling an event in january to kick things off.

Anyone interested in participating I would like to hear your thoughts on the following questions.

  1. What topics are of most interest for talks at such an event
  2. What kind of frequency would would you be interested in for PHP user group meetings (monthly, bi-monthly, etc.)
  3. What works best for people in terms of days of the week (a week night vs weekend day or weekend night)
And of course any other thoughts are welcome.

Additionally if you are interested in presenting a talk for the January event you can contact me for details.

Regards,

Ben Glassman

Here are my answers to my own questions. One piece of feedback I have already received was to try to focus on topics that would be usable in any kind of project rather than 'Getting started with framework X', so focusing on re-usable components and libraries.

  1. What topics are of most interest for talks at such an event

  1. Re-usable Libraries (Geocoder, Symfony Components such as the Profiler)
    Design Patterns
    Authoring Composer Packages
    Functional Programming in PHP
    Caching (Varnish, OpCode, etc.)

  1. What kind of frequency would would you be interested in for PHP user group meetings (monthly, bi-monthly, etc.)

  1. Monthly or once ever few months

  1. What works best for people in terms of days of the week (a week night vs weekend day or weekend night)

  1. Weeknights for short events such as lightning talks

Performance
Monitoring
Automated regression/unit/integration testing
Asynchronous PHP
Scaling

Monthly is probably about my limit.

3. What works best for people in terms of days of the week (a week night vs weekend day or weekend night)

Of these options, weeknights are probably best. A weekday lunch could also be a possibility.

Topics:
Performance, debugging trips/tips.  IDE discussions.  Version update hasles.

Frequency:
    Monthly or every other month.

What nights?
A weekday night would work best for me.  Coordinating it with Cub Scouts and the other stuff I'm getting volunteered for would be the biggest hassle.  Currently Thursday evenings are best for me.

Hi - hope you get some momentum.  My answers -

1) Performance (full stack - LB => ? => ?... => php), frameworks, long polling, AWS, single page applications (SPA)
2) Regular - monthly/bi-monthly/irregular => more important - announce, schedule & reminder!  maybe w/meetup?  works well for Julie with .Net and allows discovery/crossover with other techs/meetup groups as well (there is a $$ i think)
3) weeknight (when its not snowing)

I'm from Williamstown and do sub-contracting web development. I'd love to be able to participate - don't care about the subject too much. School board duties have my priorities for evening work and Fridays are pretty much out.

All topics work for me.

I'd vote for Mon/Tues/Wednesdays.

Looking forward to seeing this get going!

The sale of LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) gel tablets has not changed since it was first introduced to the public. People are still using the LSD blotters that Timothy Leary used in the early days.

However, times are changing, and new technologies are being developed to accommodate more LSDs in a single container. Acid gel sheets are a novel method of preparing LSD with several advantages over traditional blotting paper. LSD Gel tablets can contain three times more stimulants than dry ones.

Acid Gel Tabs and LSD Blotters: What's the Difference?

The only difference between LSD gel tablets and LSD blotters (also known as "acid tablets") is that gel tablets contain the LSD in a gelatin base. In contrast, gel tab acid, blotters have the LSD in a particular type of absorbent paper (called blotting paper).

Gel tablets are the next generation of LSD administration. Lasting longer, Mescaline Powder, they can hold more LSDs per 1/4 square inch and cure about 50% faster than regular blotters.

Are LSD Gel tabs the same as Blotters?

Yes, the equipment is the same for the standard blotting papers and the new gel plates. Both types contain high LSD. The results' time frame may differ, but the overall experience is the same. Gel tabs are faster than blotters, and gel tabs drugs, so you may get a more substantial or spiked effect, although most users won't notice the difference. Also, gel tablets contain more LSD and have a more substantial

What is the Shelf Life of Gel Tabs for Sale?

One of the main advantages of gel tab LSD is its long life. If it is unknown how long it takes for acid gel tablets to wear off, it is thought to be between 3-6 years. All forms of LSD lose their potency over time, San Pedro Powder For Sale, especially if not properly stored. Knowing how to properly store LSD will help you keep its potency in the long run.

In general, gel tablets should be wrapped in aluminum foil and kept in the refrigerator. Refrigerating the container will extend its shelf life. Do not expose your LSD to high temperatures or direct sunlight for more than a few minutes.
