Last Night's Meeting

A big thanks to the Vermont Center for Emerging Technologies (VCET) for hosting last night's meeting! Adam Bouchard gave us a demo of Springloops - a service that helps you deploy web applications (among other things). Rob Riggen and Aaron Carlino gave us a presentation on the Symfony web framework. Anyone have slides they'd like to post?

Next month we're going to have a presentation on Flex by someone from Adobe. We'll pull details together soon and put up a meeting page so we can start to promote it.

Someone last night, I think it was Aaron, asked about running running web applications from your local Subversion working copy. I've actually been experimenting with a new way to do this that is much easier and more convenient than past methods I've tried. I've written a blog post about it here if anyone's interested:
