I am pleased to announce four FREE sharing events for The People's Heritage Co-operative's 'Book Marks' project.

"Four weeks capturing library stories at Druid's Heath, Selly Oak and Stirchley Library. 18 workshops, three launch events and 40 interviews...hundreds of conversations."

The resulting work has been captured into a film that will be screened on the following dates. No booking necessary, just save the date and turn up! Please see the flyers below for more information.

Thursday 22 May - Druid's Heath Library - 2:30pm

Saturday 24 May - Selly Oak Library - 10:30am

Saturday 24 May - Stirchley Library - 2.30pm

Saturday 24 May - Stirchley Baths (in collaboration with Stirchley Open Cinema) - 6.30pm

As well as the films, we are hoping to have talks and presentations from those involved with the project. Below are examples of poems that our wonderful poets-in-residence, Hayley Frances, Bradley Taylor and Ruben Whitter  have created over the last few months with library users and groups, all of whom regard the free library as an essential part of our community.

And that's not all - We also have an extra poetry workshop with Bradley Taylor in Selly Oak Library on Monday 19 May - again, please see the flyer below for more details.

With kind regards

James Kennedy
