Scott, my Bristol 40, cruising model is for sale. asking $ 60,000, worth way more, completely remade, remolded by a renowned perfectionist, better than NEW!
Sue Clair was operated on for 5 weeks. intestines removed, now looking for cancers cause, but Sue is still too weak for further operations.  We believe our Bristol is likely the best one in the world still afloat.  If you know of anyone interested is a Bristol 40 please advise.  Don Haynie, 727 522 1979 home phone, dgha...@hotmail.com.

Best regards

Hi,

I have the centerboard winch in the starboard locker (see photo). I have to
replace the wire rope because of a broken strand. Does anyone know how the
wire rope is affixed to the centerboard winch? I don't want to unwind it all
now because I'm afraid of the wire rope breaking while pulling the
centerboard back up. I'll do the repair when I get hauled for bottom
painting. I just want to make sure I have whatever parts might be needed
(e.g., Nicopress fitting).

Regards,

Scott
