One of my doors broke and I’m considering replacing both or perhaps just the one. Has anyone removed the trim in this area? Any pointers for getting it done without breaking it?

Also a piece of the track broke. McMaster Carr has some which look like they would work. well. Anyone have other sources/ideas?
Thanks,
Rob

I replaced the original sliding doors with new Formica. I glued two pieces back to back and cut to size.  It worked well for the last 12 years. Formica choices have dwindled in the recent years, but you can still find it. The tracks are easy enough to find. I think I got mine at Home Depot.

I also converted my sea berths to cabinets with similar sliding doors. In that case I used a thin plywood with mahogany veneer. It looks great, but is a bit fancy for the galley area. You could always use a paint grade finish plywood and paint to match your interior. Photo attached.

I converted my Stb sea berth to a storage cabinet 20 years ago. Great storage!

Amazing how different all our boats are inside. On Willow, I have caned sliding doors on a plastic track. The doors easily come out by lifting them off the bottom track and then canting them. I believe this is very similar to the plastic track:
