Color of the day: Gray
Incense of the day: Maple
On this Jewish Day of Atonement, people all over the world wear
white and undergo serious physical and spiritual cleansing. No work is
permitted on this day, and believers atone for sins between them and
their God. While this may not be your tradition, now may be a good time
to consider your actions and your path. Are you living your spiritual
beliefs? List all the things you do and say. Include your reactions to
stressful situations. If anything is not compatible with your truth,
try a cleansing ritual. Smudge yourself and your home, bathe in salt
water, eliminate junk food, and meditate to clear your mind. Then
decide what aspects of your life you will adjust first. Pick one or two
simple ones, then make a practical plan that realigns you with your
spiritual path.
