Never heard of it? It's fun! Here's how you can do it yourself.

Stichomancy is an ancient art of divination, maybe 3,000 years old or
more. It is done by randomly selecting a book and flipping it open to
a random page and reading a random passage and applying it to the
situation that is on your mind. You can even do it for a "daily
guidance" type of reading.

Any book at all will do! You'll be surprised at what insights can be
gained by this random act of analysis.
Many people do this using The Bible, in that case it is usually
referred to as Bibliomancy. I do this from time to time when in need
of strictly spiritual guidance.
