Was it a bad reader, or what? We will discuss this issue in depth.

You know, I've been doing a lot of reading on this subject, and a
couple of the main reasons I've found that things don't happen as they
are read are 1) DWELLING. When someone dwells on their predictions
instead of letting things just happen, it slows down your energy. It
might happen...just not in predicted time frame. Hanging on with dear
life means you're not living...you're just putting your life on
hold...which means the prediction is on hold, too. Like suspended
animation.
2) The other thing is free will or when the querent does something to
change the course of the prediction. What some people don't realize is
that prediction is given IF NOTHING IS CHANGED. This is big. I mean,
something like sneezing isn't going to change it...but some drunk-dial
phone call at midnight very well might. We all get to choose the path
we are on...including the person that we are inquiring about

I agree........especially when a querent doesn't grasp the concept that
"this is what is LIKELY to happen if you continue on your current
path". Change the path, change the outcome.........simple.

It is also hard to read when you are looking at a third party and
trying to interpret what they are likely to do.

They have choices, and the cards will tell you what the choice is
likely to be at that moment in time, outside influences are like
ripples in a lake, they reach far and wide, and every teeny tiny ripple
that hits that third party between the time of the reading and the time
the choice is actively made makes a difference!

It is true, however, that when multiple readings on the same
subject/question are given and stand unchanged that they will manifest,
it's just the timing that shifts sometimes, and that is due to the
above "ripple effect".

I remember last year when I was broken up with Frank and frantic about
whether or not we could work it out, 9 out of 10 readers saw us
reconciling, all times varied, but the outcome stood strong........and
I used a huge amount of readers, trying to compare and validate my own
cards. I even had a friend who was learning the tarot constantly
throwing cards for me, for hours, and we would record and compare
readings from prior weeks, etc. I drove her nuts!

The readings shifted around a lot, like we saw Frank alone, then we saw
him with another woman (he was) etc., and we still kept getting him
coming back.

I had moved on with my life and let go of the obsessive reading thing
for a few months, and then all of a sudden I got "the urge" again. I
got a hold of my friend (who does belong to this group but shall remain
nameless), and we started throwing again. Although we had not spoken
in 6 months, I started dreamingly heavily about Frank and where he was
and who he was with.. I was able to validate the dreams to reality,
they were precognitive, totally.

Well, I guess about three weeks before he actually DID come back, we
would exchange readings and she and I would both get him returning and
the ultimate outcome being the 2 of Cups (a card of unity and
marriage). We didn't spend a lot of time on it, I was in another
relationship (which was dissatisfying and I was ending) and I was
looking at multiple options. But every few nights, just out of
curiousity, I would throw a spread on Frank and myself, and it was
consistent........and his return was VERY in tuned with the cards.

It really is amazing how they work.

I believe sometimes people believe that the cards DIDN't hold true,
when it's just that the TIMING is off and it hasn't come to pass YET.

It's like there may be additional challenges or more karma to be worked
out until the forecast from the cards happens, but it inevitably DOES
happen!

Another thing that happens is when the querent calls up in a very
negative state. Now granted, there are many that call up when they are
upset about something...that's the reason that they are calling to
begin with, more times than not. It's when they call and they are
upset and crying heavily, really pissed off (fill in escalated emotion
here) and already have their mind made up about what it is they are
calling about (Yes, I have been here).
The energy of the querent finds its way into the cards. When you
believe the worst case scenario, your fear can actually show itself in
the cards. Sounds crazy, but it's true. (Yes, I have been here, too).
A really good reader that had always been "right on" for me could
actually feel my energy and it even effected the shuffling of the
cards.
That is why it is always better to call when you are more composed.
You will get a more un-biased reading. Yes, it may still be
similar...but not always the worst case scenario
