Upcoming Events
Homegrown Homebrew Competition - Judging, June 8th - Submissions window is now closed. Judging happening Saturday June 8th - The club’s annual homebrew competition with Katabatic Brewing. Best in Show prize is the opportunity to brew their beer at Katabatic Brewing.
Club campout and stein beer brew - June 28th-30th - We have the group site at Spire Rock Campground reserved. Same spot as last year. The club brews a batch of beer at the campsite and does all the heating with hot rocks from the campfire.
Club Homebrew Competition - November 7th - Club-only competition. No restrictions on type of beer brewed, but must choose a BJCP style to be judged against. As a follow up to the off-flavor tasting it gives members a chance to critically taste beers and score beers similar to BJCP judges in competitions. Prizes for both highest scored beer and popular vote.
Structured Homebrew Tasting
Anyone can volunteer their homebrew for a tasting. This is an organized critical tasting, similar to how judges would taste a beer at a competition to provide thorough feedback to the brewer. Can include the flavors/aromas that people perceive, how it fits within its style, any present flaws, and overall quality/enjoyment of the brew.
Adjourn to socialize and share homebrew
