Bridge on BBO

Hi folks,
A week ago, I asked quiz participants whether they would be interested in playing in a special BBO game targeted for our quiz group. Based on the number of positive responses, I contacted Mark Lacroix and Bill Wheeler and asked them to proceed in setting something up. And they have followed through.
If you have played on BBO before, you will be familiar with the format. At US$5, it is slightly more expensive than the regular ACBL games. However, if you are a regular player in this weekly event, the free game every 4 games will more than offset this difference. I'm also told there will be some prize money awarded every month using some kind of stratification system based on ACBL point levels (to be determined). Bill Wheeler has told me that his intention with this regular event is grow the game in Ottawa: A portion of the fees he received will go toward prizes and the free game if 4 are played in a month. Personally, I think that's hard to beat.
I'm also thinking that at some point, if any interesting boards arise, I can bring them into the quiz app and get people's views on what people think should have happened. This could be fun but we'll see as we go forward.
