BRSN HAS MOVED TO ECOJAM.ORG (OCT 16th 2008)

Hi,

You should have received the first ecojam.org newsletter. If not,
please check your junk folder. Although you will still be able to view
old messages on the BrSN google group, all new discussions should be
posted on Ecojam.org.

To post a discussion either go to www.ecojam.org/interact and click
"add discussion" on the right of the page, or click "post discussion"
in the newsletter.

If you missed Pru's message explaining the switch over, here it is
below:

Hi Everybody,

BrSN is going to leave google groups and be on the new
Bristol based ECOJAM website.

What do you NEED to do if you don't want anything to change?
Nothing --- you'll just notice that you're getting a weekly newsletter
titled
"ECOJAM" instead of daily postings from BrSN@google.

The newsletter will contain the posts for the week as well as
other information: how to unsubscribe, how to post to a
discussion, how to post an event ...

Amazingly, it has been two years already that our discussion group
has been working to link together and raise awareness of all the
fantastic activities and events that we all are organizing.

I, Pru Foster, have been the primary organizer of the email list to
date. But now, Matt Fortnam, is going to take the discussion group
to new level through his new Ecojam website. This is a great
website Matt has set up for improving sustainability connectivity
through out the greater Bristol area.

We hope the new distribution method (the newsletter format) will
* foster links with other activities in Bristol
* trigger further discussion via new stories and blogs around topical
issues
* increase the usage of the discussion group
* allow members to benefit from other Ecojam services such as the
directory, Free Stuff, job lists and so forth.

Of course, this is a community discussion group, so if after a while
you find the new format doesn't work well for you post a comment
and get a discussion going and we'll try to improve it!
