Urgent substitute BLOC Talk

Due to the passing of Dick Mandile’s wife, Janice, the meetings this week have been cancelled and you are encouraged to attend the funeral to be held at 10AM on Wednesday — details below:

As many of you know,  Dick Mandile's wife, Janice, was called home (Tuesday) by our Heavenly Father. I'm canceling our board and regular meeting as many members of the club want to attend the funeral and support Dick and his family. 

A funeral mass at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church will be held on Wednesday, March 4 at 10:00. 

It's hard for me to find the words to express my love and respect for Dick and Janice. I remember how nervous I was when I first met Janice. I was very new to the club and wanted to make a good first impression.  I introduced myself to Janice; any of my self-doubt quickly melted away. She gave me the warmest welcome and smile - made me feel like I belonged.  Her love and kindness will never be forgotten in my heart. 

Dick is such an important member of our club. He volunteers for so many of our club projects and represents the OI Foundation with integrity and kindness. I know that I am a better person since I met Dick; we are so blessed to have him in our club.
