Error using grammar: 837004010

I am using x12 grammar: 837004010.py that is available in BOTS sourceforge website. My route is configured as:

FromeditType: x12

Frommessagetype: 837004010 

The file I need to process has following few lines at the top:

ISA*00*          *00*          *ZZ*11-3038233     *ZZ*2473           *070502*1154*U*00401*000882431*0*P*:

GS*HC*11-3038233*2473*20070502*1154*882431*X*004010X098A1

ST*837*000188368

I get the following error message:

InMessageError: [S50]: Line:1 pos:1 record:"ISA": message has an error in its structure; this record is not allowed here. Scanned in message definition until mandatory record: "ST".

What is wrong?

welcome to the bots mailing list.

frommessagetype needs to be: x12
(bots will find out what detailed messagetype it is itself.

Hi,

I have the same issue with a 204 message. I have followed your reply above, and named the grammar file X12.py, as BOTS said it would not find module X12.

Now I stil get the error. Could you please tell me any other reason for which it would be generated?

sorry.
please download & isntall a plugin with x12, and examine.
those are working and valid setups.
work from there, eg by adding the 204 grammar.
