My first chimney swifts of the season - three over the Mission Church in Boston at 7 p.m. tonight.
This morning along the Fens, warblers everywhere - it was raining too hard when I walking to work to have my binoculars out the whole time, but parulas, Magnolias and yellowthroats were in great abundance. This afternoon along with those I had several different pairs of redstarts.
If anyone's going to be out and about in Boston this Sunday and would like company, let me know - I haven't picked a route yet and am open to suggestions. Classes are
finally over, giving me a chance to get caught up on the important things!
