I birded in one place in Jamaica Plain-Arnold Arboretum, one place in Roslindale-Roslindale Urban Wild, one place in West Roxbury-Allandale Woods, and one place in Brookline-D. Blakely Hoar Sanctuary. all the while on foot:

Great Black-backed Gull 1 unusual; flyover
Hairy Woodpecker 6
Northern Flicker 2
Common Raven 1
Red-breasted Nuthatch 4
Brown Creeper 2
American Goldfinch 15 alders at Allandale
