to Massbird MASSBIRD, Boston Birds

At 7:00, as I was walking around looking for owls without binoculars, I saw a Barred Owl perched right above me on a tree branch. This was right over the path!. It was near the Zervas School. Then, at 7:20 p.m., I heard a Great Horned Owl calling from the swamp.
