In his book, Dickens talks a lot about money and success. Like Uriah
and Mr. Micawber demonstrate in 'David Copperfield', these are
things that people can win and lose easily. Dickens created all the
type of characters. Uriah Heep seems to be one of the bad characters.
He is devious, jealous and dishonest. Behaving badly towards the other
people he tries to go up on life and David knows it, so he doesn't
like him. However, David likes Mr. Micawber. He behaved badly
sometimes, but he is a good person. He owes people money because people
owe him and he can't manage his money. So, he's poor, but a honest
man.
