- Set goals to control weight

Identify specific goals for losing excess weight and maintining a healthy weight.

List concrete actions they will take to increase healthy eating and activity.
Set weightloss goals such as losing 4-7 percet of their bodyweight over 6 months.

- Create healthy eating plan
Eat more of these foods: beans, fatfree or low fat cheese and milk, 
fruits and vegetables, lean meats and seafood, nuts, wholegrains.

Limit these foods, breads and pasta made with refined grains, foods with butter or other fats
that are solid at room temperature.

- Be more active

Do 150 minutes a week of moderate aerobic activity.
Do outside activities like brisk walking, dancing, playing a sport or swimming.
Build strength with eight lifting or other weight excersises at least 2 days per week.
Get up and go, sitting for long periods may lead to weight gain.
