WOW! What a great Roundtable last
night! A lot of information was passed out, and some great topics were
discussed. Here are some of the upcoming events that are going on in Bo

Kids' Fest
Again this year, we are participating in Kids' Fest
this weekend at the Varied Industries Building at the Iowa State
Fairgrounds. Our district is responsible for containing our excitement at
the Scouting booth on Sunday. If you are available, wear your uniform, bring
your Scouts in uniform, and have fun with us!
Training
This weekend, we are offering a number of training
courses at Norwalk High School (1201 North Av., Norwalk) Courses start a 9
AM. Here is what we're offering:
Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO)
(There is a $5 charge to cover food).

The Tamaha District has invited us to

University (a fee of $5 is being charged), they are offering:

Yet another training opportunity is being
offered by the Raccoon River Valley district. They are offering
Scoutmaster training in three different parts. The first includes New
Leader Essentials starting at 7 PM on April 13 at Merrill Middle School (5301
Grand Av., Des Moines). The second session is on April 16, starting at 8
AM at St. Paul Presbyterian Church (6426 Merle Hay Rd., Johnston). The
third session is on April 19, starting at 6:30 PM again at St. Paul Presbyterian

Spring Camporee
This year's spring camporee is being
hosted by Troop 137 from Corydon. The theme is Invisible Herd.
Scouts will learn about Leave No Trace camping techniques. Preregistration
is required. You can get more details from your Scoutmaster, Cubmaster, or
Webelos Den Leader. (Leaders, the flier was mailed to you on Wednesday).
I'm sure I forgot something, but there's
